We know that keeping your guests comfortable is essential to maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
That’s why we provide design, installation, maintenance, and repair services for hotel HVAC systems. We want to make sure your guests are always happy and comfortable when they stay with you.
Hotels and the hospitality industry rely heavily on HVAC systems to keep their guests comfortable. Hotel guests base their satisfaction on the room temperature and indoor air quality, so hotels must maintain a high-quality HVAC system.
There are three types of HVAC systems used in hotels
Packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs)
PTAC stands for “horizontal terminal air conditioner,” and these are self-contained units usually installed below the window or against a wall. PTAC units typically don't use outside air to cool or heat the room, so they only recycle air from within the room itself. Standard PTAC units are easier to install and maintain than other types of HVAC systems. They also cost less upfront than other systems and can be replaced easily.
Vertical terminal air conditioners (VTACs)
VTAC stands for "vertical terminal air conditioner,” and these are compact systems that are built into the wall. They have the capacity to heat and cool multiple rooms, making them an excellent choice for larger hotels or those with multiple stories. VTAC units take in air from below and discharge it through a top duct to heat or cool the room(s).
These systems use the same cooling and heating processes as PTAC systems but come with additional features such as increased energy efficiency, quieter operation, and better temperature control throughout multiple rooms.
Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) units
Variable refrigerant flow systems use an outdoor condensing unit connecting to up to 24 fan coils in each room. The fan coils are typically placed in entry foyers or bathrooms because those areas are good places for duct connections and maintenance access.
The outdoor unit has an inverter-driven compressor that adjusts its speed depending on the load demand of each zone. This helps the system run at peak efficiency and saves energy costs by only using the energy needed for a specific zone or room.
Each type has its advantages and disadvantages, but all require expert design, installation, maintenance, and repair services. Chandler Comfort Solutions provides these services for the hospitality industry.
Designing an efficient HVAC system for a hotel requires expertise in identifying the unique needs of each hotel space. It is important to consider factors such as space size, climate control requirements, energy efficiency goals, cost efficiency concerns, noise reduction objectives, and more.
Chandler Comfort Solutions' experienced technicians are well-versed in designing optimal solutions that meet these criteria while keeping up with local codes and standards. Once an efficient system is designed for a hotel space, professional installation is key to ensuring proper operation over time.
Our technicians pay attention to details like temperature controls, connections between components, proper ventilation techniques, insulation levels, etc., during installation so that the system runs optimally once it is turned on.
Hotels must regularly maintain their HVAC systems to ensure maximum comfort levels for their guests and comply with local authorities' safety regulations.
Chandler Comfort Solutions' service plans include routine preventive maintenance visits, emergency call-outs, and repairs in case of any problems or breakdowns. We also offer equipment health checks to identify any potential problems before they become major issues; this helps prevent costly repairs down the road.
Additionally, our technicians can perform energy efficiency checks to determine any areas where improvements can be made to reduce operating costs without compromising guest comfort levels or safety regulations.
Properly functioning systems also help reduce the risk of mold growth because of high humidity levels, which is serious concern for schools in Atlanta
